The first type of crane we’re going to look at is the city crane. As the name may suggest, this crane type has been engineered with compact dimensions that allow it to pass through narrow streets and laneways, and access areas that have limited space or clearance. City cranes can also be easily operated in congested areas and require very little space in which to complete a working set-up and carry out a lift. The city crane hire options available from Action Cranes have a lifting capacity of anywhere between 10 and 50 tonnes, and feature a main boom length that typically varies between 21 and 36 metres.
Last but not least, we have the all-terrain crane – the largest mobile crane type available for hire from Action Cranes. As the name suggests, this machine has been designed to operate smoothly on virtually any terrain, making it ideal for construction projects that are located in difficult or hard-to-reach places. All-terrain cranes also come equipped with a wide range of features that make them suitable for a variety of lifting applications. Our all-terrain cranes hire options have a lifting capacity that ranges from 80 tonnes up to an impressive 130 tonnes, and features a 60 metre telescopic boom.
